Although i do believe the fair led me to catch something (a minor case of food poisening, or a twenty-four hour bug), I really did have a great time. I saw two pretty decent shows and loved watching the interactions between the renaissance people and other students.
My favorite part of the fair was when I watched "The Duelists" perform around 12:45. The main point of their show was to inform the audience of ten key points that occur in a duel in the renaissance style. These points ranged from looking good during the fight to belittling your opponent using sharp insults to the long speech made before death. The acting was funny because of all the under-lying dirty humor. It was great to see the little kids in the audience kind of lost when such jokes were made. Plus there was real action in the show as well-- the characters played around with a number of different weapons. I can't think of anything else to say besides the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed it.
